We are preparing for our annual Christmas/New Year holiday when we take a well earned break, hang up our computers and consume enough mince pies to keep the supermarkets afloat.

Opening hours

This year (2023) we are open until midday on Friday 22nd December and will be back at 9am on Wednesday 3rd January 2024.

Support: Deadlines & holiday coverage

The following are the last dates for support requests in advance of the holiday.

Note that last year Father Christmas 🎅  ignored our requests for clairvoyance –harumph 😤 – and so we unfortunately cannot foresee what you will be sending us! 🤷🏻‍♂️ These are therefore the last dates we will guarantee to look into requests; we cannot guarantee resolution time.
So, the earlier you contact us, the more likely we are to be able to assist you 💪

Last Dates

• Monday 11th December (8am) –
  • Last date to submit work to be implemented by us (without a Service Agreement)
    (Although this is on a first come first served basis so we may book up before then.)
• Friday 15th December (5:30pm) –
  • Last date for work to be implemented (with a Service Agreement)
  • Last date for general support requests (i.e. non-work like ‘I’ve broken my website, please fix it‘ or ‘can you explain quantum theory to me using only mime‘)
• Thursday 21st December (midday) –
  • Last date and time for requests for which we can guarantee a reply (without a Service Agreement)
• If you have a Service Agreement with a response time SLA in place, then please ensure any requests you wish replied to with are received with that response time left before midday on the 22nd.

Holiday coverage

With the exception of service agreements that include Christmas closure coverage, we will be unable to respond to support requests during the holiday and will deal with all requests when we return on the 3rd January.

Hosting monitoring

During the break we will continue to monitor and maintain our infrastructure, (especially website hosting), please keep an eye on the Hosting Status Page for any alerts.
